Award in Education and Training
Develop confident, effective trainers
We have trained almost 3,000 instructors and trainers in the UK and internationally since 2016, giving them the practical skills, knowledge and confidence needed to plan and deliver engaging learning sessions.
The Level 3 Award in Education and Training (AET) provides a nationally recognised qualification that supports professional growth, plus it’s the mandatory minimum standard required to start teaching adults in many private training organisations, adult education and the military and defence sectors.
What makes Sterling’s AET programmes unique is our emphasis on learner-centred training techniques and cultural awareness. Drawing on years of experience training diverse global groups, our programmes go beyond qualification requirements to help trainers use specific techniques to engage a variety of learners effectively and adapt their approach to different environments and cultures.
Delivered through an intensive five-day programme, the Highfield Level 3 Award in Education and Training programme is perfect for:
- Individuals looking to begin a career in teaching or training
- Work-based trainers and instructors
- Subject Matter Experts responsible for delivering technical training
- Team leaders and managers who deliver training to staff
- Coaches and mentors supporting employee development
- Assessors who wish to develop their teaching skills
- Anyone working in further / adult education or independent training providers
Participants do not need to be currently teaching in order to complete this qualification. The per person price shown includes award registration and certification, marking, textbook, all course materials and lunch and refreshments. Please contact us for costs for an in-house programme.
