Sterling training programmes are now CPD Accredited

Sterling Training is delighted to announce that all of our training programmes are now accredited through Open CPD, providing learners with formally recognised Continuing Professional Development (CPD) certification across our entire portfolio.

The accreditation applies to our face-to-face, live online and bespoke training programmes, ensuring that learners can gain recognised CPD credits regardless of how or where their learning takes place.

For organisations and individuals alike, CPD accreditation provides independent recognition that training has clear learning objectives, measurable outcomes and genuine professional development value. Every Sterling Training programme has been assessed to ensure it supports the ongoing development of knowledge, skills and workplace performance.

As part of the accreditation, learners will receive one CPD point for every hour of training completed. Upon successful completion of their programme, participants will receive both a professionally presented digital certificate and a printed certificate featuring their name, course details and a unique verification ID.

Each certificate also includes a tamper-proof verification link, allowing employers, professional bodies and other stakeholders to confirm the authenticity of the award quickly and easily. Rather than relying solely on a third-party endorsement, the certificate itself provides a secure and transparent record of achievement.

In addition to their certificate, learners will receive digital badges that can be shared across professional platforms such as LinkedIn, helping them showcase their commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

The accreditation reflects an important principle that underpins all Sterling Training programmes: learning should deliver meaningful outcomes. Whether participants are developing leadership skills, improving their communication, enhancing their management capability or learning how to train others effectively, every programme is designed around clear learning outcomes that support real-world application.

Learning outcomes describe what participants should know, understand or be able to do by the end of their training. By ensuring outcomes are specific, measurable and relevant to professional practice, organisations and learners can more easily evaluate the impact and value of the training they have completed.

Commenting on the achievement, Sterling’s Managing Director, Emma Lacey, said:

“At Sterling Training, we have always been passionate about helping people develop practical skills they can apply immediately in the workplace. Achieving Open CPD accreditation across our entire training portfolio provides additional recognition of the quality and value of our programmes, while giving learners a professional record of their achievement that they can share with employers and professional networks.”

The accreditation marks another important milestone in Sterling Training’s commitment to delivering world-class learning experiences, ensuring that every learner receives not only high-quality training, but also recognised evidence of their professional development.
