Sterling Training is delighted to announce our membership of the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) Training Provider Network (TPN).
The CITB Training Provider Network brings together quality-assured training providers from across Great Britain, helping construction employers access trusted, relevant and high-quality training that supports workforce development, productivity and long-term growth.
As a member of the network, Sterling Training joins a community of providers committed to supporting CITB’s vision of a skilled, competent and inclusive construction workforce, both now and in the future.
Supporting the changing needs of the construction workforce
As the construction industry continues to evolve, employers are managing increasingly diverse teams, tackling skills shortages, developing future leaders and finding new ways to transfer knowledge and expertise across their workforce. Alongside technical competence, organisations are recognising the growing importance of effective communication, leadership, cultural awareness and people development in creating productive, safe and engaged workplaces.
Our membership of the CITB Training Provider Network reinforces Sterling’s commitment to supporting these priorities through practical, engaging and workplace-focused learning experiences. Through our portfolio of leadership, management, communication, trainer development and intercultural competence programmes, we help organisations build confident leaders, effective communicators and inclusive workplace cultures. Particularly relevant to today’s construction environment are programmes that support:
- Leadership and management development
- Team leader and supervisor capability
- Communication and collaboration skills
- Trainer and coach development
- Cultural awareness and inclusion
- Supporting international learners and trainees
- Knowledge transfer and workforce development
As a CITB Training Provider Network member, Sterling Training can also support conversations around workforce development initiatives that may be eligible for support through CITB Employer Networks and other funding opportunities available to construction employers. For organisations looking to invest in their people, this creates additional opportunities to access high-quality training while maximising development budgets.
We are excited to work more closely with construction employers, industry partners and CITB stakeholders to help develop skilled, confident and inclusive workforces. Whether you are looking to develop future leaders, strengthen communication across teams, support an increasingly diverse workforce or explore training opportunities for supervisors and managers, we look forward to being part of the conversation.
